Dear Webster Girls Softball Supporters,
On behalf of WAA Girl’s softball we would like to extend our thanks to all our past contributors in support of our programs. In 2009 over 650 young female athletes from the ages of 5 – 18 participated in our programs. We believe Webster is the largest organized girl’s softball program in Western, NY and possibly New York State. Our non-profit organization prides itself in providing these young athletes the best possible atmosphere to have fun and improve their softball skills. In addition, their learning experiences include the values of leadership, teamwork, self-discipline, and cooperation.
The 2010 softball season will continue our program’s dedication to improve the girl’s playing experience. This year’s plans include: continued upgrades and field improvements to all 8 fields at our Ridge Park facility, further expansion of our snack bar to include a grill, possible enclosure of our two new state of the art permanent batting cages, investigation of enclosed dugouts, and proposal of a bathroom facility behind the snack bar. Our web site (www.waasoftball.com) continues to make improvements which include recognitions of our sponsor partners. In 2010 all league registrations will be conducted solely on-line. In addition to our Rec program our Xtreme travel group continues to expand with the addition of Jr Xtreme teams for those girls looking to continue to play softball after the Rec season is over. Our annual Xtreme tournament held the 3rd week of July brings over 36 teams from the East Coast and Canada to Webster. In 2010 we will also host a weekly league for over 24 local travel teams to play at our facilities.
None of these past or future enhancements would be possible without the generosity of our sponsors. Your continued support of Webster Girls Softball allows us to provide these youth female athletes with the very best program and facility in Western, NY.
