2010 Jr. Xtreme 10U/12U League
 
In 2010, WAA Girls Softball has decided to establish a new 10U and 12U Jr. Xtreme Team. The Jr Xtreme program allows interested girls to participate in an extended softball league following their regular WAA Rec. season.   One 10U and one 12U Jr Xtreme Team will be formed. Any girls interested in this program must attend the Winter Workout sessions. Teams will be established during a tryout on the last day of the 10U/12U Winter Workout sessions. 
 
10U/12U Jr. Xtreme Outline:
The focus of these team are to develop skills, work ethic, cover game situations and build teamwork for girls who desire additional softball during the spring and summer.
 
 
Team/Season Guidelines:
  • Girls must reside in the Webster, NY.
  • Girls wishing to tryout for the team must participate in the WAA 10U/12U 2010 Winter Workout with tryouts the last day on 3/6/2010.
  • Girls are required to play in the WAA Rec League
  • 10U/12U Team practices will occur during the WAA Rec season mainly once or twice per week.
  • Once the WAA Rec season concludes, practice frequency may increase and teams will participate in two tournaments and a handful of home/away games with other local travel or extended season teams.
  • Season should be completed by the end of July.
  • There will be an additional cost to participate on this team to cover practices, field costs, umpires, tournaments, and uniforms. Details will follow.
  • 10U Coach will be Scott Woodruff and 12U Coach will be Ron Pignato
