We are excited to offer Spring Training for our players! This program will take place at the Thomas Field House prior to the start of the spring Rec season. Sessions will run Sundays from 3:00–5:00pm, beginning March 1st and continuing through March 22nd.

Fee: $100 per participant

This 4-week training program is geared toward Rec players. All participants will be placed into age-appropriate small groups and guided through the core areas of softball development. Instruction will include pitching, fielding, hitting, throwing, and more (see details below). In addition to player development, we will also provide guidance and support for our upcoming coaches—all volunteers are welcome!

WAA Girls Softball sponsors a girls youth softball program in the Webster, NY community. This recreation softball league is composed of five (5) age group divisions: 

Tee Ball: Players born between Sep 1, 2018-Aug 31, 2021 (4 to 6 year-olds)

Rookies: Players born between Sep 1, 2016 and Aug 31, 2018 (7 to 8 year-olds)

Minors:  Players born between Sep 1, 2014 and Aug 31, 2016 (9 to 10 year-olds)

Majors: Player born between Sep 1, 2012 and Aug 31, 2014 (11 to 12 year-olds )

Seniors: Player born between Sep 1, 2008 and Aug 31, 2012 (13 to 17 year-olds)

WAA Girls Softball sponsors the Webster Xtreme program for competitive fastpitch softball, annually fielding teams at each of the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U levels.  Teams are formed using an open tryout format, evaluating players based on skills and drills designed to allow players to display their talent in the various aspects of the ever-evolving and exciting game of fastpitch softball.  Players selected to teams will receive high-level softball training and compete throughout the year in local and regional play dates, league games, tournaments and showcase events. Our Webster Xtreme Fastpitch teams practice and play their home games at our 8-field Ridge Park Softball Complex. Off-season indoor training takes place at our dedicated Xtreme Training Center, conveniently located on Holt Road in Webster, NY.

Tryouts for the 2026 season will take place at our Ridge Park Fields on the following dates:

8U-eligible Players: August 6, 2025

10U/12U-eligible Players: July 28, 2025 Make-up Date: July 30, 2025

14U/16U-eligible Players: July 29, 2025 Make-up Date: July 31, 2025

18U-eligible Players: Invite only; Date TBD

Registration for tryouts is REQUIRED! TRYOUTS ARE FREE!!

Should your player be offered a spot on an Xtreme team roster and the player accepts that offer, the annual registration fee for the 8U division is $400, 10U division is $600, 12U-16U divisions are $700, while the 18U division is $600. These funds are used by teams to pay for indoor practice space rentals, team training equipment/aids, tournament entry fees, umpires, etc. Payment installments are due on 8/15/2025 (non-refundable), 10/15/2025, and 11/15/2025. Uniform package costs are charged separately during the winter months when these items are fitted and ordered.
