WAA Girls Softball sponsors a girls youth softball program in the Webster, NY community. This recreation softball league is composed of five (5) age group divisions open to youths, age 4 to 17: 

T-Ball: ~4 to 6 year-olds Sep 1, 2018 - Dec 31, 2021

Rookies: ~7 to 8 year-olds Sep 1, 2016 - Aug 31, 2018

Minors: ~9 to 10 year-olds Sep 1, 2014 - Aug 31, 2016

Majors: ~11 to 12 year-olds Sep 1, 2012 - Aug 31, 2014 

Seniors: ~13 to 17 year-olds Jan 1, 2008 - Aug 31, 2012

League ages are determined as of December 31 of the previous year for the upcoming spring season. Participation is not restricted to residents of Webster; we welcome players from neighboring communities looking to learn the fundamentals of the game and to compete in a fun and supportive recreational softball program. 

Registration for recreation softball opens in November of the year prior to the season. Special requests for teams, teammates, or coaches at the T-Ball, Rookies, and Minors divisions will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed. Teams in the Majors and Seniors divisions are formed through a draft held in early April, just prior to the beginning of the season. The Spring season usually begins in mid-April and lasts through mid-June, followed by postseason play in the Majors and Seniors divisions. The Fall season starts in mid-August and runs through September. All games and practices are held at the 8-field Ridge Park Softball Complex.
